How do i get to know my crush?

well ive had this crush on this guy since school started. pretty much i noticed him the first week of school when i was walking to my classes , i saw he was wearing a Led Zeppelin shirt ( a awesome band btw ) and i kept seeing the guy everywhere and eventually a week later i started crushing on him. i added him on facebook the other day and yeah i got really exited when he liked my status one day haha. i wanna talk to this guy and somehow get to know him but he has no classes with me. and im sorta shy . i dont have any experience with talking to guys either . my last guy friend was in 5 th grade and now im going into 10 th. so i get a little nervous . hopefully i can start fresh and somehow meet him next year. but how? the only thing that i guess helps is that we both share common interests...
