Drummer's thoughts help?

Well, I'm a guy and i''m 13 and I play drums at my church. I just started about 2 weeks ago. I'm the type of guy who loves 60's and 70's rock n roll. I have long hair..I love The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Van Halen, lots of blues and stuff like that...my uncle came and taught me some basics because he's a really good drummer and has been doing it for years. I'm basicly just using the snare, bass drum, hi-hat, & ride or crash cymbal (I can't remember exactly, sorry). People keep telling me how good I am doing and everything and I kepp trying to do something different every week becuase I think in my head, "well, people hear the same thing every week. wouldn't they get tired of it?" then I thought "well, i'll do what i'm supposed to and if they don't like it then too bad". I'm a very self concious (I don't know if I spelled that right..) person about alot of things about myself..please help! I'm playing today so yeah..I don't know what to do.
