Why am i having the same dream?

Hello all, i keep having the same dream, that its a wedding or some formal event, and for some reason im going to wear a kilt, (i am from welsh/scots heritage) and i cant decide weather to wear my dads sides tartan, or my mums sides, my mum and dad split up recently and im living with my mum, my dads got his new house and i stayed with him for afew days the dreams started when i stayed round his, could these dreams be showing me anxiousness over my relationships with my parents? im not too sure, any help would be useful thanks
