Why do americans like scotland so much?

if you think about it they yous our tradition allot like at a funeral they will ware kilts and play the bagpipes they celebrate tartan day along with scotland im not bragging i don't mind im glad there's a bit of Scottish in americans it doesn't annoy me im just interested in what makes them like us so much i understand they like other countries like ireland so remember im just wondering why they like scotland
